    Payouts for your organization

How an organization receives booking payments in one account, who can set it up, what changes need an emailed code, and what is deducted.

    Last updated:

    In short

An organization can set up one payment account for its booking page. Once it is verified, online payments for bookings with the organization's therapists are paid to that account through Razorpay instead of to each therapist's own account.

    Who can set it up

Only the organization owner is offered the payment account. It is under the workspace's booking page settings. Managers and members cannot set it up or change it.

Which account a payment goes to

    • If the organization's account is Verified, the payment goes to it.
    • If it is not set up or not yet verified, the payment goes to the therapist's own account when that is Verified.
    • If neither is Verified, PracMind cannot route a payment, because Razorpay would reject the transfer after the client had paid.

The set-up steps and the four verification statuses are the same as for an individual therapist. See Online payments and payouts.

    Changing the account

    • Every change to the organization's payment account asks the owner for a 6-digit code sent by email, so that someone who only holds the owner's open session cannot redirect the organization's money.
    • This clinic's payout account is verified, so it can't be replaced in the app. To change the bank account, email PracMind support at support@pracmind.in. We'll review the change and make it for you.

What is deducted from each payment

A payment processing fee of 2% of the full amount the client pays, plus 18% GST on that fee, is held back from each payout, whichever payment method the client uses.

On a ₹1,000 payment the processing fee is ₹20 and the GST on it is ₹3.60, so ₹23.60 is held back and ₹976.40 is left before any platform fee.

If the organization has agreed a platform fee with PracMind, it is a percentage of the booking's price before GST and is also deducted from the payout. Without such an agreement, no platform fee is deducted.

If the organization charges GST on bookings, the GST the client pays is passed on with the payout, because the organization is the one who files and pays it.

    When the organization is paid

    • Each payout is held until 24 hours after the scheduled end of the session it paid for, so that a refund before then can be taken back out of it.
    • If a session is rescheduled, PracMind moves the hold to 24 hours after its new end. If PracMind cannot move it, the payout is released at the original time.
    • When the hold ends, the payout is released. How long the money then takes to reach the bank depends on Razorpay's settlement schedule and the bank. PracMind does not control it and does not promise a date.

    Refunds

Each practice sets its own cancellation window, which the client sees before paying. The Refund Policy, which clients see at checkout, sets out when a client is entitled to a refund and how it is paid back.
